What We Believe

We believe…

The Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe…

That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe…

In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe…

That for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We believe…

In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe…

In the baptism with the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of spiritual gifts.

We believe…

In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe…

In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

We also embrace the creeds and councils of the early Church – most specifically the Nicean Creed of AD 325 and the Chalcedonian Creed of AD 451 – and are also big fans of the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Heidelberg Catechism, among other Reformed confessions and catechisms.

Lastly, we are also involved with Coalition on Revival and both embrace and promote its foundational documents to guide the Church in its return to historic orthodoxy. These documents include: The Manifesto for the Christian Church , the 42 Articles on Historic Christian Doctrine , the 25 Articles of Affirmation and Denial on the Kingdom of God, the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy and a comprehensive series of 17 Worldview Documents (enter “worldview” in the search engine in our “Writings” section) that outline the Christian worldview in areas of life and thought.
